This game was cancelled Wednesday night about 10 minutes before kickoff so Albright was thrilled they had to make the journey back up to lovely Etown.

It’s chilly and windy here tonight after a beautiful day.

Albright has a total of 16 players on there team and no backup goalie, very weird. They look slow, small, and stupid. (sorry to be mean but I needed a third “s” word.)

Wes head butted Michael Terry during the Star Spangled Banner. I see everything.


45:00 Albright tap. GREAT NEWS THE S.I.D brought a hand held radio and we are listening to the Phillies game. I probably won’t be able to focus on the blog tonight, but I might write a sweet Phillies blog instead, I have playoff tickets for the first home game.

Albright coach “We are second to every ball.” In my opinion they are more like fifth to every ball.

32:25 Jays corner kick by Holt. Cleared out by the Lions.

It seems like the Jays are getting frustrated because they aren’t winning by 5 goals already. They will be soon enough.

31:30 Corner by Holt. Cleared out by the Lions, Petrosky gets it back and serves a perfect ball into Diller who heads it over the goal. Good opportunity there, Diller should have done better.

30:33 SUB Severini out Dirty in.

29:46 Jays long throw in headed out for another Jays corner. Holt plays a short one to Petrosky who has all day to serve a cross and he trips over himself, everyone is looking around for a sniper.

28:58 GOAL!!! Petrosky redeems himself with a ball served into the box right to Buntings head for his first goal of the season.

26:46 Great opportunity by the Lions, shot high and wide. Blue Jay defense fell asleep for a minute. I think Wes is still cherishing his first goal of the season.

25:51 Injury to Albright player. The Lions players are talking around me and they seem pretty upbeat for being down 2-0. Kudos to there coach for keeping them positive.

Shocking development here as Raveling is not wearing long sleeves, I am he regrets that decision.

8:44 A ball played into the box Raveling goes up for it against the keeper and they collide and the ball is free at the top of the 18.

8:05 Probably the best save of Albright goalies life. A ball played across the 6 yard box, one timed by Gallagher and the goalie made an incredible reaction save and hold.

7:02 Great ball from Mike Helsel to Raveling on the back post headed just wide into the side netting.

5:12 Wes completes a pass to Liddle. He complains to me if I don’t mention when he ACTUALLY completes a pass.

3:35 Helsel crosses it in to Liddle, headed just high. The flanks are so wide open, it’s a field day for the Jays outside halves.

1:05 Cross from Raveling to Gallagher who lays it back to Sheibler to rip a one time shot from the 18, low and wide. It’s just a matter of time before the Jays start connecting on these opportunities and piling on the goals.
